This component is equipped with a 1/4″ SAE male connection and a 1/4″ SAE female connection, a very common configuration in the refrigeration industry. The presence of the depressor allows the internal valve of the connection to be acted upon, allowing refrigerant to flow through it during connection, control or maintenance operations.

This is a useful accessory for technicians and installers, designed to facilitate work on refrigeration circuits, charging units, pressure gauges and service lines.
